    This podcast is so informational, I’ve learned tons of things that should have been taught in a Sex Ed class but weren’t. Now, as a woman in my mid-20’s, this podcast is teaching me healthy ways to view sex and my body while also educating me about important parts of my life that nobody else talks about (like how the prescription meds I take can affect libido). I appreciate so much that Dr. Moali is taking on these topics that nobody else is talking about, and is doing it in a fun way that is so easy and enjoyable to listen to!

    As someone who is extremely interested in learning about the psychology of intimate relationships and is looking to pursue couples therapy, this podcast was extremely informative. It was also personally helpful given my own experiences with SA. I think the information provided in the episodes is extremely valuable, insightful, and (most importantly) accessible.

    i listen to this podcast religiously every week. The episodes are very informative, specially the most recent one on STI's. Moreover, DR.Moali explores each topic in an informative, shame free and fun way. Not only will you learn something new but also have an engaging experience listening.     I discovered the Sexology podcast in Fall 2019 and have enjoyed binge listening in my free time since then. The guests are insightful and the topics are fun. Dr. Moali engages her guests in smart conversation — I walk away feeling like I have gained value after having listened and laughed. As a university lecturer for the course Gender Communication, I appreciate the nuggets of information, the stories that broaden our narratives about the human sexual experience, and the underlying curiosity in wanting to know more about how we experience our sexuality (both individually and collectively). The quality of the episodes are fantastic — so much so that I will be incorporating this podcast as part of my curriculum to supplement our textbook and in-class lecture. Thank you Dr. Moali for sharing these positive messages with us. We are better for having heard them.

    I love this podcast so much! I recently completed my undergrad in psychology and am in the process of applying to grad schools. I’ve been listening to this show for months. Sex and sexuality have always been major interests of mine and I love the way Naz talks about the topic and brings so much emphasis on pleasure! I was raised Catholic so the shame tied to sex was always an issue for my peers and I. Discussions like the ones Naz and her wonderful guests engage in create a much more positive, accepting attitude toward something most people don’t like to talk about.     I found Awakening Feminine Sexuality at a time when I MOST needed to find it. In my search for similar podcasts, I hadn’t yet discovered Sexology and it was one of those jaw dropping, brick to chest type podcasts for me personally. I’d frequently heard, “women are just less sexual then men. The end.” Not this podcast. That particular episode continued the conversation with, “Well that’s kind of odd isn’t it. Lets figure out how to fix that, together.” I had never before felt hope like that in regards to my own sexuality. I’ve been enjoying exploring the other episodes as part of that conversation. Thank you for putting this podcast out there for anyone like me who craves reassurance that they aren’t broken, things can improve and needs this conversation on female sexuality to be out in the world more with less judgment and less “that’s just that” attitude. Thank you!

    Dr.Moali, My husband and I have been suffering from a desire difference for most of our relationship and the resulting pain started creating crushing anxiety for both of us. For him it was the fear of having to say no again and make me feel rejected and for me it was the immense pain of not being desirable to him. It only got worse with stress and depression as well. I have done research on my own, things that made me feel ok with my partner having a low sex drive but it wasn’t getting better. We finally hit a point where we thought it might be over for us but I said I wouldn’t give up on him, there are solutions out there and I will find them. That’s when I looked up sex therapy on podcasts and found you, starting with your low libido podcast and moving to many others, it completely changed my out look on my relationship and sex. I no longer felt hurt and was not taking his low sex drive personally, because in this case it wasn’t personal, it was stress and exhaustion. I apologized for how sad I have been and told him that it’s time for us to start fresh, reducing the anxiety in our bedroom with Sensate Focus. I just introduced 5 minutes each of this exercise with no expectations, to say the least, just one session has completely breathed life into our relationship and given us hope. Thank you so much for this work that you do.

    I love this podcast! I have to admit that prior to listening to it I felt ashamed of my own kinks and was very close minded about sex and pleasure. I grew up in a family where sex was a pretty taboo topic and talking about sex in any context other than reproduction was not ok. However, this podcast has opened my mind to world of sexual pleasure that is my body. This podcast has taught me so many things about sex and the different ways people engage in it while at the same time melting away my sexual shame. The top two things I’ve learned from this show are: don’t be ashamed of masturbating and enjoying your body, and it’s ok to enjoy a kink and like sex that is different.     I love the guests of different levels of professions talking about the topic of sex. I like that there’s a lot of discussion of how the sexual experience is different for everyone. Very normalizing of “issues” you might have in the bedroom. Love it.

I especially appreciated Episode 67, discussing Erica Garza's journey with sex addiction. In a society where we normally hear about mens' sex addictions, this was a much needed discussion. And... thank you for bringing up that watching porn is not in itself a bad activity. Any activity in moderation is ok!

    Wow...where should I even start! I started listening to Sexology's podcasts about a month ago and I cannot get enough! There is so much educational and valuable information that Dr.Moali has and brings into each show. I love how Dr.Moali is so authentic and curious which brings a ease and comfort into discussing sometimes uncomfortable topics. These podcasts have helped my marriage in a very positive way....meaning I have more insight on what I need sexually(having had trauma from sexual assaults in my life) and able to communicate to my hubby what I need and what feels good vs. not. I also have a better understanding of his needs and we have more comfort and discussing all of it! I highly recommend Dr.Moali's Sexology podcasts to EVERYONE.
