Dainelle is a sex educator and podcaster, and in this conversation, she highlights the importance of medically accurate sex education, the challenges and rewards of teaching sex ed to different age groups, addressing myths and misinformation, and the role of consent and pleasure in education.

 

Danielle Bezalel, MPH wears many hats as the brains behind the Sex Ed with DB Podcast. A feminist podcast bringing you all the sex ed you never got through unique and entertaining storytelling, centering LGBTQ+ and BIPOC voices.

 

In 2014, she proudly graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Film and Media Studies. Later, she pursued her Masters of Public Health from Columbia University, specializing in sexuality and reproductive health, which she successfully completed in May 2020.

 

When she’s not busy with her podcast, Danielle enjoys showcasing her singing talents. Her passions extend to documentaries that drive social change, empowering young women through sex education, exploring the world through travel, and indulging in all kinds of chocolate.
