Welcome to episode 373 of Sexology Podcast! Today I am delighted to be speaking with Rena Martine. In today’s episode, Rena discusses her personal journey that led her from a conventional career as a Deputy District Attorney specializing in hard crimes to her current path as an intimacy coach and sexual wellness advocate. She discusses the importance of self-compassion, body adoration, media awareness, and perspective in cultivating a healthier self-image and deeper intimacy in sexual relationships.
Rena Martine, a native Los Angeleno, now resides in Echo Park, near her partner. Passionate about smelly cheese, dramatic cinema, and 60’s music, she enjoys dancing and spending time with her Siamese cat, Lucha (“Chooch”). Rena often connects with loved ones, radiating happiness and occasionally enjoying a cocktail.
Holding a Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from California State University Los Angeles, Rena excelled as a law review editor and author. She also earned a certificate in Positive Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania.
